This is to let you know I am accepting new students!
I know that choosing the right Teacher/Tutor for your child is an important decision. You want someone who will teach as well as take the time to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and effective learning styles.
My foundation to my approach to private teaching prioritizes getting to know and understand your child paired with a holistic approach.
I provide individualized, 1:1 Customized Accelerated Instructions designed around the specific needs of each student. My goal is not simply to help students perform for a grade but to understand how and why something works, which inherently builds confidence and increases independence.
Just as every thumbprint is unique to an individual, so is every strategy with the lessons applied with my student's pace to acquire his/her learning. Some need extra support with foundational skills. Others need a greater challenge with a variety of examples and curriculum options. And then I have had some who advance from having a Private Teacher who can provide educational "Conversations" which can give more meaningful experiences.
As your Private Teacher, I can give your child something that can be difficult to provide in a traditional classroom: Individual Attention and Customized Instructions tailored to your child's learning needs.
I also believe that a successful teaching relationship includes the parents. Communication, clear expectations, and a shared understanding of your child's goals help create the strongest learning experience possible.
